Precision ADM Targets Growth with Appointment of New Sales Director
January 10, 2017 – Precision ADM (PADM) has appointed a new senior sales director to help drive the company’s aerospace growth plan. The appointment brings an aerospace industry veteran who brings decades of experience to the company’s already strong sales and management team. Ian Klassen has been appointed to a new role as Director of Aerospace Sales and Business Development. He joins Precision ADM from his previous role as Director of Sales from Standard Aero’s Energy Business. Ian served at Standard Aero since 1998 in various engineering, customer service, sales and leadership roles. “In order to drive more focused growth in our aerospace business, we are creating this new role and putting in place a very experienced sales professional and leader,” said Martin Petrak, CEO of Precision ADM. “In addition, this appointment will allow Precision ADM to focus more attention toward continued sales growth in our medical and industrial business, which will continue to be directed by Derek VanDenDreissche.” “Now is the time to bring in an dedicated aerospace professional, one who can focus on the aerospace market and work with our existing aerospace clients to realize additional production work and expand our services within this exciting marketspace” Petrak explained further.
Precision ADM Installs New Multi-Axis CNC Equipment
January 10, 2017– Precision ADM (PADM) has recently completed the installation and commissioning of two new Matsuura multi-axis CNC machining centres. The Matsuura VX-1000 3-axis VMC and Matsuura MX-520 5-axis machining centre will compliment the Nakamura NTRX-300 – 5 Axis multitasking turn-mill and GF AgieCharmilles – Cut 30P Submerged Wire EDM already in place. “The new equipment allows us to provide highly accurate and fast machining of parts conventional machines can not, “ said Martin Petrak, CEO of Precision ADM. “Our goal is to control the part and machining processes.” Precision ADM is a contract engineering and manufacturing solutions provider that uses additive manufacturing (3D Printing) as a core technology.
